BOSS Kenny Jackett has revealed that he decided to sign Bournemouth's Scott Malone after being impressed by the wing back's attacking qualities.
The Lions this evening completed the signing of the 21-year-old on a three-year contract, with striker Josh McQuoid going the other way in a player-plus-cash deal.
And Jackett says Malone's versatility and tendency to push forward were the attributes that drew him to the former England U19 international.
He told the club's official site: "Scott has played both left back and left midfield, depending on the system and the players around him, but he's a very attacking player, even from left back.
"While he can get a goal, his assists record is very good with his crosses and his balls through."
Malone said: "I'm delighted to have the chance to prove myself in the Championship with Millwall, and my aim is to keep scoring a few goals!"
