Preview: QPR vs. Millwall

OWEN Garvan is set to return to the Millwall squad after a bout of illness.

Garvan missed the 0-0 draw with Doncaster on Easter Monday because of a throat infection but trained as normal on Thursday and Friday.

Lions boss Ian Holloway has also been feeling under the weather but is expected to take charge of the team as normal at Loftus Road.

Otherwise, Millwall have no fresh concerns ahead of Saturday's London derby.

Danny Shittu (Achilles) and Ed Upson (ankle) remain sidelined.

QPR boss Harry Redknapp has confirmed Charlie Austin and Danny Simpson are fit.

Jermaine Jenas is sidelined by a calf problem and Richard Dunne could be rested, but Benoit Assou-Ekotto is available again after suspension.

Don't know about garvan coming back into starting line up thought macdonald had a good game in the middle spread the ball about well and was also a lot more mobile than garvan.

Charlie Austin would be my concern - but would Redknapp be foolish enough to play him with the playoffs just around the corner? - i know i wouldn't

We've got QPR at the right time. They've got bigger fish to fry in a fortnight or so. We need an early goal to put them on the back foot.

I fancy 3-1 to the Mighty Millwall, with Martin and Woolford to ruin their defence, besides they owe us a few goals from the Donny game

@wole: unfortunatly we still have pointless idiots following the club who still think it ok to do moraonic actions when things dont go our way,why oh why dont the pointless hooligans just go and arrange a punch up at camber sands at 2 0 clock in the morning where they will have no where to hide or run to when they are on the recieving end of a hiding ,no they just want to smash things up,putting more pressure on the club.

Barnsley and Blackpool to lose and the mighty lions to win.
It's what all the fantastic supporters of Millwall FC deserve.
    Roll on 5pm Saturday.

just as important as our result are the others - in my view defeats for Doncaster and Blackpool are more important than a point for us - then even a loss tomorrow gives us a strong chance - whereas a draw at QPR which would be a good result means far less if Brum and Donny pick up points - I am hoping that we only need one more point from here; it might be all we get - if that is the case we need Donny to lose both or draw one and take a heavy defeat or Blackpool to only manage one draw so thosde two to lose is what it is about tomorrow - I will be following their games more than ours

Got my ticket for tomorrow. Gutted for the rest of millwall fans. Once again when we need the backing of the board & our fan sitting smugly in the dear seats. They turn their backs on us. They don't deserve such loyal fans as us. The thing that really p***** me off is not one of the spineless c**** have come out & told us why.

Most probably took note of this already, but Brighton's win on Friday turns up the pressure on Wigan to have to pick up points to secure their play off spot. They will want to beat Blackpool.

@SE14: our problem is the charlton v blackpool game if charlton are safe when this game is played will they have the will to go for a result or just fold and hand 3pts to blackpool.so we have to get 4pts from our last two games to be sure of safety, but i am sure we can do it.

@jim1222: I agree, but if we win today and Wigan win, we don't need to care about the Charlton/Blackpool game. We would be safe. We only need 3 points in this event.
