Millwall defender eyes Watford win after away-day double

MARK Beevers insists Millwall cannot get carried away after back-to-back wins.

The defender, who produced man-of-the-match displays in recent victories over Nottingham Forest and Wigan, says the Lions' survival job is only half done.

And so he has his sights set on a third straight win over Watford at The Den this weekend.

Beevers said: "If we can beat Forest and Wigan away from home, there's no reason why we can't go back to The Den and beat Watford as well.

"We're looking ahead to the weekend because it's another massive game.

"We can't get ahead of ourselves because at the end of the day we're still in the relegation zone, but we've given ourselves a massive chance of staying up.

"We've sucked some of the teams above us back into it – there are probably seven or eight teams in the mix now and that's because of these two wins.

"If we carry on playing like this, we'll be fine – there's absolutely no doubt about it."

A frightening of biblical proportions should await Watford ! Unnerve them from the dot and get their team and supporters feeling really uneasy. Good things are starting to happen with our team, each game is becoming more cohesive. F***, wish I could be there. Good luck everyone.
