Preview: Millwall vs. Blackburn Rovers

SHAUN Williams returns from a two-game suspension for Millwall's home clash with Blackburn Rovers, but DJ Campbell cannot play.

Williams picked up his tenth booking of the season against Charlton earlier this month but is available for selection after serving his subsequent ban.

Campbell, on loan from Ewood Park, is not eligible to face his parent club. Simeon Jackson, who scored a penalty against Birmingham in midweek, could replace him in the side.

Loan signing Carlos Edwards is also added to the squad and could make his debut.

Jermaine Easter (thigh) is a week away from fitness, but Scott Malone (hip), Nicky Bailey (back), Richard Chaplow and Danny Shittu (both Achilles) are set to miss out again.

Blackburn midfielder Tom Cairney could return after an ankle problem, while Jason Lowe (ankle) and Josh King (back) should be fit.

Liam Feeney cannot play against Millwall under the terms of his loan agreement.

Man U have hired one of those airplanes to tell Moyes to clear off,
I am releasing a balloon at 2.15 to tell Holloway the same,
It may be a let down like our season.

@dpendet: Feel the same given mine to my nephew can't watch any more rubbish this season. If the players can't be bothered, then why should I. Be back next season no doubt so hopefully won't have to see much of this current squad again.

But like you say get rid of most of the squad and ease up on the loanees next season as they are all not interested in MFC just themselves!
Will go to the Bournemouth game as we will have a relegation party!!!!!

of course , as so many chances been created without him.. and how many goals scored , remind me?
it's hard to believe how players don't want to stay, given the support they get . I bet henry is more content despite being a division below .
feeney, meanwhile, will have to put up with offers from Bolton ,Ipswich ,Bournemouth ,Blackburn to console himself . but ,obviously , league one player , is your perceived wisdom ...who do you reckon will be league one and who championship next year ...millwall or feeney ?
Bolton cheered his name when announced as a wall sub against them..wonder why?

keep hounding players out the club .others will be encouraged to join no doubt.

@on the floor: I agree with you to some extent about the vitriol aimed at players, it's even done to our long term servants like Forde, Dunne and Robbo. But Feeney never did it for us so I don't care what he does at Bolton. In the end Adsy's comment is only a bit of humour.

    All has-beens.
Its not Ollies fault. The players we have today are what we can afford but have long passed their best and that’s why they were available. You cannot demand or expect any more from them because they simply don’t have it anymore. That’s why we are bottom of the league, it’s not so much confidence or necessarily poor tactics or bad managers.

@AireLys: Of course its the manager's fault he picks the team he plans the strategy and laughable formations, he makes the subs, and he has signed some hopeless players. People have got to stop making excuses for him, get rid and soon.

to numb nuts Peckham lad ,what will getting rid of I h do .not been here 5 minutes and you want to get rid. for who exactly? we are a shower of s--te and have been for the last few seasons .have a look at our finishing position apart from our decent first season ,downhill from then on. and who will want to come here anyway ,we have chopped and changed managers a few times and it does nothing for the club ,supporters or morale .he should be judged on next season when he tries to get us out of league 1 ,and that will not be easy either.

Apparently the fitness test at the club is not needing a stairlift at home!

Some however are still failing this strict criteria but the physio is actively seeking bungalows for them so they are eligible for selection.

We need a management trio of Spackman, Anderson and Nicholl, the points to games ratio is superior.

    What a farce.

Easter's a week away from fitness - been ages since I heard that lovely phrase. Usually means he'll never play for us again.

Only a miracle will save us now - I'd let Harris or Bircham pick the team and send Holloway shopping with the missus for the day.

Seems to me like there are numerous changes to the personnel every week, none of them seem to know what they are doing, there's a distinct lack of communication and half of them just swan around because they know that they'll collect their wages whatever happens. I'm really fed up with the catering team in the West Lower, and I don't think I'll bother with my usual pie and a pint tomorrow. Wage thieves the lot of 'em! Let's hope they have a big clearout at the end of the season.

Have been reading Alan Sugar and found this extract when Chairman of Spurs.Fed up with the players, he would have liked to have sacked the manager and gone into the dressing room and addressed the players like this.... ' and if you can't kick or cross a ball by now you shouldn't be here. Now,you'll see i have loads of coaches here who'll make you fit and do all that set-piece stuff they do.What i'm going to do is kick your bloody arses out if you don't get fit and perform.Never mind 4-4-2 or a christmas tree formation,it'll be P45 and p*** off.And if you think i don't have the balls to do it,just try me out.If any of you bleedin Prima Donnas don't like it,you have the chance to go now. There is the door put in a transfer request and i will get you away, because you are not as good as you think you are. There's a bunch of kids out there in the youth team and reserves who would bite my hand off if i gave them a chance '
' If we loose i'll be giving a interview to the TV and it won't be all that crap ' we will go away and regroup and gather our thoughts and pull ourselves together ' i will be saying, Danno, terrible and don't know why i pay you fifty grand a week for a pathetic performance and you Willo, you looked like you were having a stroll in the park, the bloke who walks my dog could do better.I will name names and put the blame on you. It's s*** or bust lads '

Not mad on Sugar but can see what he means, perhaps give ideas to JB ?

@shoot ffs: I get the impression that JB has not got the will power to make hard decisions and changes, he listens to Ambler too much. Who gave the go ahead to sign Hoyte? The fact that JB is not here most of the time is one of the weaknesses, he is not a hands on chairman and gives Ambler too much power. JB has to get to grips with the administration as well as the manager and players. There needs to be quite a clear out top down.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing, none of us wanted Lomas but JB wanted to give what he thought was a young up and coming British mgr his chance, backed him with some signings that we all expected would do better than they have, and banked on an more experienced squad, under an inexperienced manager being able to gel and do enough to finish above the likes of Bmth, Yeovil, Dcstr et al. It's obviously gone tits up, so he brought in IH, who the majority of us were behind, including me. Things have got worse and we all know we are going down now, and we are p***** off, and for lots of reasons rightly so. We are where we are, so might as well get behind them and cheer em on tomorrow as loudly as possible, and make us proud of ourselves even if they don't give us much to cheer about. Proud to be Millwall, despondent but still Millwall, - COYLions!

      @T20ColdBlowLion: Spot on T20.
What makes a good team IMO- right up to the top levels, is getting all the little things right- so when it comes to match day, everything should average out to being a victory. So when some parts of the team take a drop in form- there should be enough quality/players doing the right thing to compensate for this. This just hasn't happened for us this season- it seems we sort out one area of the team - then the other parts drop off. When we've got the team sorted- we get terrible f**king refs along with suspensions.... By the time the suspensions return- half the team is f**king injured!!! And round and round we go!!!!! S*** season.... On the rare occasions where it has all come together, we've ended up the victors... just hasn't happened enough.
Oh well, I'm gona be there today as usual- lets hope they give us something to cheer about...! COYL!

@Jim28: Silly c**ts. Twitter's quite a dangerous thing- coz, as you said, the players are on it all the time... We can speak a little bit more freely on here... half the stuff I write on here I wouldn't write it on twitter... I'm not on twitter anyway- but if I was....
Would imagine it would be quite a useful tool though as well- as it is a direct line to our players... but the difference needs to be = it MUST be CONSTRUCTIVE criticism and NOT someone saying.... 'You're a c**t Woolford!!!' What's the geezer gona say- "thanks for that lads, I'll try and take that on board next time I'm on the pitch- that should really help my game..." Mugs.

I've said before that the rot started under KJ, Lomas didn't improve anything but we've now got the manager that most of us wanted. Now is not the time to start complaining about what IH has or hasn't done now is the time to get behind the team. Yes some of IH signings seem strange but he's got shot of Feeney, Trotter and Keogh the first two i'm glad to see the back of. We're playing better football but individual mistakes have cost us, bad ref's have cost us and the inability to find the back of the net has cost us. At the start of the season who'd have thought we'd be where we are, not me. Everyone's moaning about what has gone wrong this season but think back to last season, if it wasn't for the thirteen match unbeaten run we'd have gone down last year and we were close the year before. If we go down it won't be the end of the world.
    KEEP ROARING!!!

@uncle albert: uncle albert you are so right, problem after problem this season, but it is also my opinion that our problem's started under jacket, then lomas and IH compounded them with some of their signing's,also we have been hit time and time again with bad luck and injury problem's,when i look back on the season the very first game,we could easily have been 3-0 up in that game but when we lost it that set the tone for the season so far.

@uncle albert: You'll see from previous comments that I am a massive KJ fan. The rot did start as soon as Henderson left and Wood wasn't signed. Rob Hulse and Nathan Tyson were two of the worst signings in our history, especially the latter and most of us said so at the time. However, I'm 100% certain that if KJ stayed we would not be bottom of the table because of the things he achieved like thirteen match unbeaten runs. What would we give for a two match unbeaten run right now.........
