Preview: Leeds United vs. Millwall

SHAUN Williams will miss Saturday's match at Elland Road through suspension.

The midfielder picked up his tenth booking of the season against Charlton last time out and subsequently serves a two-match ban, starting tomorrow.

Midfielder Jimmy Abdou is likely to replace Williams' in the matchday squad of 18.

Scott Malone has trained fully this week since returning to the bench for the goalless draw with the Addicks after a hip problem and could start against Leeds.

The terms of Steve Morison's loan move to Millwall stipulate that he cannot play against his parent club, so Stefan Maierhofer or John Marquis look set to come into the side.

DJ Campbell resumed training on Thursday following a hamstring strain and could feature, but Jermaine Easter, Nicky Bailey and Danny Shittu are definitely out.

Fede Bessone (ankle), Lee Martin (knee) and Richard Chaplow (Achilles) are doubts.

For Leeds, Rodolph Austin is hoping to shake off a knock but Jimmy Kebe (hamstring) is out.

What a signing this Bessone lad is proving to be! Completes the four musketeers of the tampax trio that is Chaplow, Martin and Bailey.

@harryfabian: the four musketeers is right (Tampax - Three ). What a carry on? Reminds me of Sid James and Company.

Williams will be missed no doubt about that, especially as he can cover at centre back if need be. Would like to see Abdou start think he deserves a chance.

@dons50: Like what I've seen so far, no problem with him stepping up to the Championship. However could well find himself back in League 1 next season.

@tonytowneronthewing: I was there as well and Garvan didn't have a good game, but neither did 7 or 8 of them on the pitch. My judgement is based on we've got plenty of midfielders absent and Wright doesn't cut it. Also, Ollie seems to love him so he's almost guaranteed to start, especially when our midfield is so depleted. One bad game shouldn't see you kicked out of the team anyway.

Leeds have conceded 4 and 5 goals in their last two Home games.
They are unlikely to do that for a third time especially against our strikers !!!!

@Longfield Lion: Unlikely most definitely. Although they must be a bit suspect at the back. I would settle for one if it got us three points.

What about McDoughnut is he not ready? Surely he owes us some goals. Whether he's capable of it is a different story!

@wise19: McDonald-He's still looking for himself apparently.
Bessone-Dropped his wage packet on his foot.
Martin-Tried a Ronaldo-esque step over in training and ended up with both knees facing the wrong way.
Chaplow-Can't find his tammies and won't wear anything but blue shorts, 'just in case'.
Shittu and Bailey are on a 'sea food' diet. They see food and eat it.
What a bunch of f****** sextuplets.

We have absolutely no width available, so not sure where the crosses are going to come from for the beanpole to get on the end of. Lump from Robbo is the new way forward..........oh wasn't that Jackett's method!!! I fear for tomorrow, even against a weak scum team like Leeds. (I really hate those northern c****)

Maier can't"t be match fit yet and Marquis and Jackson near useless. Where are the goals coming from? We should get rid of the cripples asap.

If Jimmy does play then can someone remind him where the opposition net is? Think the last time he scored was the semi-final 2nd leg v this mob, in the year we went to Wembley to play Scunny.

Leeds have never been more there for the taking. With Charlton, Barnsley and Yeovil all at home it's vital we get something out of the game. No more excuses.

Got my woolly edge voucher for tomorrow! Would've preferred a train ticket....
Really don't know what to expect tomorrow - once again, we've got a changed squad- but on paper, the team doesn't look too bad. Really hope Jimmy can hit the ground running- as he hasn't played in ages - but we all know how hard he works.
The fact we've got the likes of Fredericks and/or Malone available for a start will make a difference to the performance in the Charlton game. With Dunne and Bessone in LB & RB, I thought we lacked width going forward. Will be nice having their pace down the wings and hopefully they'll put some decent crosses into the HOFF!
Talking of the HOFF, I was impressed by his 1st performance but his fitness is an issue- how long will he last...?
P.s. As for issues off the field - should I take my lucky brick with me?- Was thinking of putting some string round it like Father Jack! COYL.

Round Elland Road of a sudden came MFC
And the sun looked over the stand's rim
And straight was a path of 3 points for them
And the need of a world of Millwall for me.

    Aplogies to Browning.

Just back in to the Malmaison Hotel Leeds, looking forward to the game tomorrow but not expecting more than a worse negative goal difference by the end of the game. Pretty much consigned to relegation now - even Yeovil have momentum wheareas we seem to be free falling unable to score or get any results off the teams around us. A draw at Barnsley, a loss at Derby and beating the anoraks would have put us in a much better position with those same 4 points picked up.

Nightlife feisty up here tonight but restaurant blood awful, waiter picking his f****** nose ( and out fell McDonald!.....). Honestly could couldn't make this waiters disgusting habit whilst taking my order up the dirty northern c*** ( although I think he might have been from Northern Poland.

"What would you like?" asked the waiter.......nonchalantly picking his nose.
I said "Ill have 2 boiled eggs ya b******, you can't get your fingers in those"!

Come on 'Wall, give it to these northern c**** tomorrow, and let's hope the team can put on a good performance too for a change.

I can hear Ollie's after game excuses ringing in my ears already. The ref gave us nothing, we didn't turn possession into goals when we were having the better of the play for 30 seconds, but we've still hot 9 cup finals to go......

Martin and Chaplow are complete sick notes, with McDonald not to far behind! What a waste of money they are. All very capable but we never see it and they be the first to jump ship if/when we get relegated. But then again it will do the club a favour to get rid along with Shittu (Good performances but to slow), and offload bailey, another signing I was anticipating big things from at the start of the season but very doubtful he get back to player he was a few years ago at Charlton.

So many things have gone wrong this season that our league position is deservedly so... A stark contrast to the team and attitude of triers we had in League one in both play-off campaigns. It all seems like a distant memory now after two seasons of this debacle. Shame.
