CHARLTON defender Michael Morrison believes Millwall would swap their points total for the Addicks' four games in hand.
Morrison claims it is advantage Charlton in the battle to stay in the Championship after a 0-0 draw at The Den on Saturday.
The Valley club have extra fixtures to fulfil between now and the end of the season after a string of postponements due to the wet winter weather and their FA Cup run.
And Morrison said: "If you ask Millwall which position they’d rather be in, they'd rather be in our position.
"You would rather be relying on yourselves because if you don't achieve it then you have only let yourselves down, rather than hoping someone else makes mistakes.
"It was important that we didn't lose on Saturday because it keeps the gap between us and Millwall at three points.
"If we can win one of our games in hand, we can go above them on goal difference. I think a defeat would have made the six points look bigger.
"It's in our own hands and that's important. It’s up to us to make them count."
