SCOTT Malone's proposed move to Millwall is a step closer to completion today after the wing back agreed personal terms with boss Kenny Jackett.

Malone met Jackett and Lions chief executive Andy Ambler at a hotel near Gatwick airport yesterday after jetting in from his holiday in Spain.

He underwent and passed a medical.

It is understood talks reached a successful conclusion, with a source now describing the deal, which will see striker Josh McQuoid move the other way, as "90% done".

The South London Press reported this morning that confirmation of the transfer could be delayed slightly as McQuoid is yet to undergo a medical with the Cherries.
