MILLWALL striker Josh McQuoid has agreed to return to former club Bournemouth as part of a deal that will see Cherries wing back Scott Malone move the other way.
NewsAtDen revealed yesterday that the player-plus-cash deal was in the offing after an agreement was struck between the two clubs, with The Lions poised to discuss personal terms with Malone this afternoon.
Boss Kenny Jackett will meet Malone, who has cut short a holiday in Spain to complete the deal, at a hotel near Gatwick Airport this afternoon.
The former Wolves youngster is booked on a return flight to Malaga early this evening, meaning the move is likely to be signed off by then.
McQuoid, meanwhile, will return to Dean Court as a makeweight.
The 22-year-old is understood to have already met Cherries boss Paul Groves to discuss his return to the League One outfit and shaken hands on personal terms that will see him become the club's top earner.
McQuoid has made just 12 appearances since joining Millwall for £550,000 in January 2011, and spent the second half of last season on loan at Burnley.
