BOURNEMOUTH wing back Scott Malone will fly home from his holiday in Spain tomorrow to hold talks with Millwall, NewsAtDen understands.

The 21-year-old is expected to undergo a medical on Thursday after a deal between the two clubs was agreed.

Lions striker Josh McQuoid is likely to go the other way in a player-plus-cash deal.

Boss Kenny Jackett had identified Malone as his top summer target after making signing a new left back his number one priority.

It was first thought a deal would be unworkable, with the Cherries asking for a reported fee of £750,000, and Jackett subsequently pursued other targets. Millwall made an enquiry for MK Dons left back Dean Lewington just ten days ago.

However, talks with Bournemouth were resurrected last week and the move could now be announced within a matter of days.
