MILLWALL keeper David Forde could start for the Republic of Ireland against Bosnia on Saturday after first choice Shay Given picked up an injury.

With Given having undergone a scan on a troublesome knee, Forde is vying for a place in Giovanni Trapattoni's side for the friendly in Dublin.

Fellow reserve keeper Keiron Westwood is also in contention as Ireland begin their final preparations for EURO 2012.

Trapattoni said: "Given has a little bit of a problem. We have to decide run the risk or stay.

"We have another two [keepers]. For this game, we will decide with the doctor because at this moment, we don't need to run the risk."
