DJ Campbell missed Saturday's defeat to Brighton with flu.

The Blackburn Rovers loanee pulled out of training last Thursday because of illness and was subsequently missing from the side beaten 1-0 by the Seagulls.

Ian Holloway said the striker had "looked sharp" prior to his withdrawal from the squad.

Campbell is expected to train as normal this week ahead of the Lions' forthcoming trip to high-flying Derby County at the iPro Stadium.

our forwards have to start to hit the target.simple as.its not good enough .if the other team scores first we lose or draw because we cant score more than once and thats not right.our stikers have to start to hit the back of the net.no one likes us we dont care .as a club we must stick togother

Looked like some of the lads out there were suffering with it as well, but not as much as us watching it again.

I don't think we missed him, hardly set the place alight has he, and as for tweedle dum (Jackson) and tweedle dee (McD) I think we are really being taken for a ride.

We seem more like a team of "has been's" rather than "could be's".
Very similar to last season from January.. missing out on a good young forward and spiralling into the Old Loanee market.
Can't see a last day escape this time and can't believe we didn't learn from last season.
Of course i could be wrong and we stuff Derby & Charlton to gain some breathing space.. let's hope so.
    COYL !!

This has nothing to do with anything. I notice that yet again on Saturday, TROTTER was an unused sub,so that's four games, twice subbed off, twice sub never got on.seems like he been sussed for the lazy one paced merchant he is. Are Bolton really gonna part with money they ain't got come the summer To sit him on a bench and watch him get bigger

@Luke ColdBlow10: it's no wonder players don't want to join us when as in DJS case he gets slaughtered after a month here yet Morison does bugger all in most games yet everyone says he must play !!!

@southstandview: Just to be clear, my comment wasn't a dig at DJ- but it's what you expect on here with title like that! i.e. 'f**king flu?! get over yourself and score some bloody goals!'
Has Morro said something to upset you?!?! Ok he isn't scoring goals, (none of em are!) but it's his work off the ball that you've got to look at. I wasn't at the Barnsley game so can't really comment on that game- but every game I've been to, even in Lomas' time, he has been working tirelessly. Worse in Lomas' time for him really, coz he had no hope of any service. Then recently it's been a case of the chances not falling to him- but to the likes of Easter and McD- who haven't taken the chances. Jury's still out on Jackson and DJ, they haven't had much of a chance. But I honestly believe that if Morro gets some clear chances- he will score.
Don't really care who scores, as long as at least 1 of them starts to do so.. COYL
