GOALKEEPER David Forde dislocated a finger during Saturday's loss at Barnsley.

Forde suffered the injury making a brave save at the feet of Tykes striker Chris O'Grady but played on after treatment from physio Bobby Bacic.

The long-serving Lions stopper is expected to return to training later this week and should be available to face Brighton at the weekend.

Bacic told the club's official site: "David dislocated his little finger performing a save during the second-half.

"Luckily he managed to remain very calm and allow the finger to be relocated on the pitch, which is a very painful procedure.

"In a way it adds further insult to injury as it is just as painful as the original force needed to dislocate the finger in the first place."

I dislocated my finger as well pushing it through the iPad when I saw the f***** score, that aside I hope it's improving quickly for him and us.

@MFCTOMMY: yes, Forde played well and was cheered when he went off, just like Danny Shttu did. Both played their usual good game.

we really can't afford for forde to be out for even 1 more game this year, it's proved very costly and with the goal difference the way it is , it's the last thing we need! a new YOUNG keeper in the summer is a must. although forde is a good keeper we need someone to push him either out of starting 11 of close to as bywaster is not capable in a million years.

So, it Brighton on Saturday, are we gonna win? Plenty of banter with their Seagul fans in store. If we chase the ball more we will WIN.

Are the players still upbeat do ya reckon mate or do ya think it's all a bit flat? They really need to feel the love this week , we simply must not lose or it.l be circumsicisions all round. Maybe sum firecrackers in the crowd , a few flares etc etc or am I stepping over the line a whisker?
