As it happened: Barnsley 1-0 Millwall

FOLLOW the latest team news and match action as Millwall travel to Barnsley.

Saturday's clash at Oakwell could prove vital in both clubs' battle against relegation

Victory for the Tykes would put them generic lexapro pill images within touching distance of safety, whilst the Lions could finish the day seven points clear of the bottom three if they win and Charlton lose.

I think another draw is on the cards, probably 1-1. Barnsley are not going to lie down and with an almost certain biased ref we will be hard put to come away with three points.

1 0 down in 4 minutes - obviously not making enough use of the very large pitch at Oakwell!!
Presumably the inspired management will put all the defenders up front and all the forwards will now play at the back - and we will make all three substitions before half time - if not immediately!!
Obviously they dont appreciate we need to win this one

It's so frustrating. Again playing well and creating chances, but stupid individual mistakes and no one to convert chances when they come along is costing us. Suppose that's relegation form / luck. COYL turn this around!

Anyone else laughing at how much of an embarrassment we've become? Well, it's a mixture of laughter and tears. IH doesn't know what to do but in fairness Alex Ferguson wouldn't be able to save us. We are in free-fall and relegation is now more likely than not.

When oh when are they going to realise that we have not got a decent forward? Morison misses more than he ever scores, the others are simply hopeless at the moment. I hope we are not going to get another diatribe from Holloway telling us how everything is coming together, moaning about the decisions and saying how pleased he was with the performance....
Quite frankly Holloway has to think about his own decisions and tactics.
Now I expect they will score 3 goals in the last 10 minutes!!

I feel as though I have been conned, conned by the managers, the board and the players.
The writing was on the wall at the end of last season and the board must take some blame in their appointments and decisions. They brought in an unexperienced manager who at least got some decent wins but was lambasted by the morons because of his WH connections but who failed to motivate the team and brought in a lot of hasbeen loan players. Likewise Holloway who has the gift of the gab off the field has failed tactically on the pitch..so far. It does not take a genius to see that the problem has always been in the massive failure to score goals and finding a front man.
Millwall are dead in the water without a paddle. Back to the drawing board.

Sinking ship. Actually, a sinking rubber dinghy. Joke of a club, joke of a set of players. IH not to blame but he is if he doesn't change something soon. 4-2-3-1 not working nor is the 4-2-4 that comes in every game, you know, when we've gone 1-0 down. 4-4-2 would have worked today. We've failed to score against a team who concede for fun, a little like another shitty team I know (& it's not Hyde).

Really not looking good, a lot of talk but too little action, he cant keep making excuses, this is now his team, took them away for team building, signed several new players, he needs to start backing up his words with action, other results have made it even more important now that he starts winning a.s.a.p.

We've been in free fall since the end of last season and after giving Lomas too much time, what do prop,e expect, Holloway isn't a miracle worker - The core group of players simply aren't good enough. End of. If this was a team bought by Holloway I'd be having a go, but it's not, he's making do with two previous managers castoffs / signings. A group of players with no confidence, the worst goal record in the league and a s**** away record. We've got a team full of has been players at the twilight of their careers who are either injured, not fit enough or just not hungry to succeed. I'm bloody frustrated, but we simply aren't good enough.

We need some defenders ! At least that way we my pick a single point ! Per game ! Maybe, even play with 2 , yes just 2 strikers upfront and maybe 4 midfielders instead of having no midfielders and 5 strikers ! Get into the loan market and get some players who wanna earn there money too

Holloway IS to blame!!! This is his team; he doesn't waste any opportunity to tell us about himself and his philosophies and how he can see the he is getting into the players. Judging on today's performance, watching the Champions League did 'em the world of good! With the squad we've got, Kenny would have got better results, Warnock would have got better results, f*** me, I think I could get better results. Our team are all at sea, changing the line-up every week, wholesale changes through substitutions, changing tactics every 10 minutes during a game, so much so the players don't know where they're supposed to be playing. KEEP IT F****** SIMPLE YOU CLOWN. I had misgivings when he was appointed, my palarse mates said he was s***. IMO, they're not wrong. Next week, SHUT UP and SORT IT OUT.

@Adsy77777: 4 players who started today were his signings, hardly his team is it. And I don't believe Jacket wouldn't have got better results, why do you think he left? He knew we were bloody lucky last season, that there are issues with the core group of players, and that he probably couldn't keep us up because the team just isn't good enough. I will agree that not playing a consistent team has cost us, but that's been the case all season. We need a full clear out of all these money grabbing, heartless players. I'll judge Holloway on a full season when he's had a pre season with his own players. I'm very p***** off tonight. Feel sorry for those who went.

@Kennyp: 4 players is nearly half the team mate. Irrespective of that, he has changed the 'tactics', the 'formation' and has already informed us all, that f*** the consequences to us, he wants it done his way - and it's a f****** mess. I wouldn't mind, but where is this great football he likes to play? We look less like scoring than ever. All we do is play meaningless passes where it doesn't hurt teams til we f*** it up, they nick the ball and score. Then we start chasing the game and it ends up like a sunday league game. I'm all for getting behind the players and the manager; but for f*** sake people, WAKE UP. He's taking us down and some of us are still hailing him as the messiah - In the words of Monty Python - he's not the messiah, he's a very naughty boy!!!!!.

@Adsy77777: Fully agree Adsy. He seems as tactically inept as SL.
His plan B always seems to be to weaken the midfield and further lesson the chances of our powder puff attack to score, that is if they ever did have a chance to score.
Yes Steel pulled off a couple of finger tip saves but that is what they pay him for, Fordey pulled off a couple as well.

P I s s e d off to say the least, why can a team in bottom 3 be allowed to defend a goal lead all poxy game if it were us 1 up we'd have thrown it away no doubts.
come on ian you havent the tallent in the squad for the barcelona esc football you want us to play. We're at the business end now mate so time to take it serious stop tinkering stop moving players out of position stop sacrificing defensive midfielders for s h I t winger or strikers get a settled side and just win a
f u c k I n g game no matter what it takes, f u c k the principles of the beautiful game, even if you got us playing sexy football the officials will hold up play so much it would count for nothing.
    3 points asap

We are going down now! Where is the pride and passion in the team! Where's the millwall we all know! If we do go down it's going to be very hard to return! League 1 is tougher than it was 3/4 seasons ago at this moment in time we are a laughing stock to all them teams we proved wrong a few seasons ago!

    Too much tinkering
    Too many mistakes
    Too many excuses
    Too much watching champions league
When you are in trouble you go back to basics. Sod pretty football and daft publicity-seeking comments. There is no excuse for IH taking us down but it is looking highly likely that he will.
Indeed, it will be nothing short of amazing if we get out of this mess. Until today feared ending up 3rd bottom...could be even worse if things are not sorted immediately.

as Holloway himself said we are vulnerable to a long ball because the full backs push on and shittu and lowry are slow , hence his comments about Dunne's (relative) pace - so what does he do, put lowry back in - you either mean what you say or you don't

I am on the way home from Barnsley and what a hopeless heap, Holloway saying we have to utilize there pitch is b******s Malone was clueless and the constant long ball to Morrison was boring. The pass and move football wasn't there as the obvious passes to open up their defense wasn't happening. We had our moments Williams free kick was close but Holloway coming out and saying we had more chances is bull s**t. I have seen better football in the conference and some of these players are on 10, 20 thousand a week. We have fresh raw talent in our under 21s why not put them on and give them the chance to show us what they can do
