Spurs loanee relishing Championship challenge with Millwall

RYAN Fredericks believes he is flourishing under the pressure of playing first-team football for Millwall in the Championship.

Fredericks has made six back-to-back appearances for the Lions since moving to The Den on loan in January.

And the 21-year-old feels he is thriving in a competitive environment.

"I am really enjoying it," he said. "It is great to come into a team where all of the boys and the manager accept you so quickly.

"It's helped that I have come in and played straight away, but I feel at home here. I was desperate to go out on loan.

"It's a tough, tough league, but I couldn't get the experience I'm gaining by playing reserve football at Spurs, even though I was playing with good players.

"You never learn until you go out and play competitive football. At Millwall, we set out to win games, take three points and that's all that matters.

"That pressure isn't quite there in reserve football. I am loving the pressure and I think it's bringing out the best in me.

"I was at the stage where I felt I had learned enough from the coaches at Spurs to put what they'd taught me into practice.

"I am picking things up from more experienced players all the time, it is a constant learning process for me. I'll make mistakes but the key is to learn from them."

Now sign up for a season long loan next season, you'll not play better football or more regularly at any other club mate.

Glad ya lovin bein here rhino but we may set out to win games ,take 3pts and win but it ain't happening, thing r starting to take shape but we runnin out of time and kickin dew off the grass in league 1 doesn't seem so appealing. Let's all of us grow our balls as big as we can and get the f*** up the ladder ASAP.

Does anyone know what I need to bring if my coach tickets haven't arrived so I can travel?

@MFCTOMMY: MFCTOMMY, are you on the Millwall supporters coach? if so, I can tell you that the Lady who checks the coach tickets ( TINA ) has a List of who is booked on it. So no big problem. Just get there in good time Coach 1 leaves at 09.00am.

Ryan, all I'll say is you'll never play for a club like Millwall again, once your loan period expires (unless it get's extended).
The experience you'll get from us this season will be invaluable. I just hope it doesn't go to waste for the rest of your career.

Ryan. Good player with lots of potential. Still a learner who makes mistakes like every one I. Life does. Anyway moving away from Ryan but is it me, or does anyone else fill like we bring the best out of the Tottenham youngsters. Look and Townsend and Harry Kane both playing 1st team football now,
