MARK Beevers missed Millwall's 3-1 defeat at Burnley with a calf problem, boss Ian Holloway has revealed.

Beevers will also sit out Tuesday's trip to Yeovil Town, but David Forde and Danny Shittu will travel to Somerset after overcoming quad and groin injuries respectively.

"Mark tore a soleus muscle last Friday," Holloway said. "We'd worked for two or three days in training with him at centre half against Burnley.

"Luckily for me, Shaun Williams can play at the back – he was going to be in midfield, and I wasn't going to play one of my strikers either."

Physio Bobby Bacic has described Beevers' injury as "short-term."

How about this for an idea. What about if we play our strikers as defenders and our defenders as strikers. Seeing as we're conceding 3 goals or more a game, we couldn't do any worse could we !!

DONT WANNA RISK SHITTU' AT YEOVIL TOWN ( NO NEED ) ; LET HIM REST ANOTHER WEEK OR SO, OR HE WILL DO THE STRAIN AGAIN AND BE OUT FOR 2 MONTHS. ROBBO CAN BE IN CHARGE AT THE BACK. AS FAR AS UPSON IS CONCERNED, HE DID NOTHING GREAT AT BURNLEY, BEFORE BEING TAKEN OFF. "NO ONE LIKES US, WE DONT CARE" STORMIN' NORMAN .

Beevers should never have been injured the first place the day before a game with 2 CBs out - Ledley King never trained and could produce displays 10 times better than our CBs - I am looking for a more intelligent approach under IH but it is patchy

If they're over their injuries then Forde and Shittu must start.

We need to beat Yeovil to keep the gap on Charlton who still have a game in hand.
