As it happened: Burnley 3-1 Millwall

FOLLOW the latest team news and match action as Millwall travel to Burnley.

The Lions are unbeaten in their last three visits to Turf Moor, but manager Ian Holloway is winless in 11 games at the home of the Clarets.

Burnley boss Sean Dyche, meanwhile, has won ten out of 12 clashes against Millwall, his former club, as a player and a manager.

    If someone were to offer us a point I'd bite of their hand, stitch it back on and then bite it off again. On the plus side, Leeds doing us a favour 2-1 up at Yeovil.

      @Longfield Lion:

      how does beevers get injured in training when we know shittu and lowry can't play - is this irresponsible - the type of thing lomas used to allow - I just don't understand how so many players can continually be injured - what can we expected o Williams and robbo in this situation - so hard for them - we might have to win 4-3

    A very weak defence and still persevering with Morison with just one defender as sub. It proves how defensively weak Millwall are and neither Lomas or IH has bothered to do anything about it. Disaster beckons although I hope not.

    Robbo and Williams .... either a dream pairing or a nightmare. And how long do we continue with an auto place for Morison. He's there to score goals and he ain't doing it. It has never worked playing him in the centre of the attack

    Holloway is a good manager, I've no doubt about that but after 4 weeks thought we would see a bit of improvement by now! The team had the buzz for a game or two then slipped into the same mindset they had under Lomas! 29 goals conceded in 10.5 away games! So much for the Holloway turnaround!

    According to BBC been all one way traffic to Burnley who have been in the driving seat most of game. We have to face the truth we are not good enough, and bar a miracle are headed downwards. I am starting to have my doubts about IH, he has done nothing to strengthen the defence or midfield, bought in two out of form strikers and still plays Morison who should have been shipped out long ago.
    look what Pulis has done to CP? Hurry back Danny and Lowry.

      @Peckhamlad: There's no shame in being 2nd best to a team like Burnley, let's be realistic. Morison has been performing well (don't know what you're on about there), I agree the defence hasn't been improved much but the midfield has. Upson + Williams quite decent plus they actually want to be here unlike Trotter. I don't understand why you have such high expectations - we've been s*** all year mate! Players were applauded off, at least they gave their all.

        @Alan.F: When did Morison last score a goal? I can remember John Fashanu always a menace in the penalty area, getting his head in front all the time and frightening defenders. Yes I agree the players gave all, but we have to be realistic so far with one or two exceptions we are not good enough.

      I go back to what I put earlier: to risk injury to beevers in the situation of shittu and lowry already out is amateurish - not just the score but the manner of the defeat is embarrassing - 11 shots to 2 on target - the way this lot at the bottom are carrying on 40pts might be safe - utterly awful - put IH with no defensive nous in charge of the team with the worst defensive record in the league

    Started well had burnley on the back foot. Couldn't deal with the movement of the lads up front. Then they slowly came into it. The goal near half time turned the game.

    I predict well get 1 win and possibly 2 draws from the next thee , however given our away from it's more likely it'll be 1 point from 6, have to beat Bolton at the Den but can you really see it? Charlton looks already like the biggest game of the season!

    think we have all got to face facts , we were lucky last season to stay up , and even though the rest around us are tosh , WE AINT GOOD ENOUGH , i think with giving easter a new deal and upson and williams , i think ollie and club are planing for the worst , we need to rebuild the side , i for one will still have my season ticket and stuff the champonship , ollie has tried the gamble with dj and jackson but for me they are to rusty , the biggest worry for us fans is keeping JB

    : Ian Holloway: "Our next three games are big ones for us. If we can get some points from those everything will look a lot better."

    That's a massive understatement , doesn't sound too positive though does he!
