SIMEON Jackson is set to make his Millwall debut at Burnley tomorrow after his signing received international clearance from the Football Association.

Striker Jackson, along with fellow new arrival Ed Upson, is expected to go straight into Ian Holloway's starting line up at Turf Moor.

However, Danny Shittu (groin), Nicky Bailey (back), David Forde (thigh) and Shane Lowry (suspended) have not travelled to Lancashire.

Richard Chaplow, Scott McDonald, Paul Robinson and youngster Jack Powell have all been added to the preliminary 21-man squad for the game.

Burnley have no injury concerns after Daniel Lafferty (thigh) and winger Keith Treacy (neck) were passed fit.

Bailey out is a big blow as he organises the team well and adds some steel to the midfield. Lets just hope Upson hits the floor running and shows that muppet Johnson at Yeovil what a bargain he was for us. COYL. Very frustrating that we can't get a first choice/full strength starting eleven in place. Another game with patch-ups but also a chance for those coming in to stake a claim.
Can't wait until everyone is fit and back from suspension. Then we might see some results. Time is running out. Fingers crossed tomorrow.

Jackson/Campbell up front tomorrow will do nicely with Morsion, Easter and McDonald on the bench... Seriously how the hell can we not find the back of net?? Hopefully Upson and Williams will be the keys to supplying our strikers with goals as well as getting a few themselves tomorrow unless IH sticks Williams in at CB... Still he get goals!

    Brilliant news about Jackson.
He is going to get goals there is no doubt in my mind.
Him and Campbell could work out very well.
    I really fancy us tomorrow.
    Can't wait for kick off.

@Jim28: Morison in Midfield Jim?? I think that should be Upson & Chaplow in the Middle with Woolford and Martin on the wings, DJ and Moro to start with Jackson coming off the bench!

        @Jim28:
Agree with Bradders Jim. Chaplow for Morison in midfield.
I know that Burnley will look at that attack and will know that they will have to be well on their game. Morison and Mac on the bench as well. It's all going to start clicking.
        3-1 win to the Lions.
I'm off to the bookies now to put my money where my mouth is.

@wall2wall: The only problem with Chaplow is he is a Burnley fan I believe because he spent a long time playing for them!

Either way I'll back Holloway to make the right choice... but not Upson and Williams haha

At least that's a Plus S.Jackson is in the Team with E. Upson. So although it's Not our strongest, it's a capable Team.Could be a score Draw.

Baily is no great loss he falls over and looses possession too often. I think the new fella from Mk will turn out better once he settles.

@benzo: Bailey puts himself about and can distribute the ball better than most of our centre midfielders as Holloway realises he is a loss!

I don't think you can play Upson and Williams together as they are new and need to be integrated into the team and get to know each others game before playing together.

unfortunately a settling in period for our new lions isn't something we can afford to give them in the position we are in at the moment...........they need to hit the floor running. They have all got decent playing time under their belts this season so there is no reason why they cant deliver some good performances under the guidance of IH from now until the end of the season. I have faith!! MIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII

@leel331987: Unfortunately that's the way it is, very hard to just go from one team who play a certain way to another and adapt within a week or 2!

Although I'm sure Holloway can get them playing good football and make us a hard team to beat before the end of the season!!

I would be more confident if Danny was playing, I think a draw is the most I can hope for at moment, by the way the weather is going to be foul with gale force winds. Might hamper the game. Good luck to Simeon and Ed on their debuts!

I know we'd all take a point tomorrow but we've really got to start picking up some points. In a month or so, Charlton will have 3 games in hand over us and if we're just a point or two ahead, that won't be enough. We need wins and one tomorrow (somehow), we'll have great confidence going to Tuesday night. COYL.

Sound like an exciting squad even with the injuries to sum key blokes, a few weeks into the Ollie experience and hopefully the boys starting to get used to the new systems etc. I hope that the Big Mac gets a run and has a day out to remember. Good luck everyone. Millwall forever!!!

Do you think it would be wise to start thenew boys? Williams maybe with Upson and Jackson on the bench. Not sure they have had enough time to bed in although Upson should be up for it with a point to prove after Humpty-Dumpty's recent comments in the week. Either way, good luck boys, put in a shift and hopefully we will get a positive result! We fear no foe!

Can't bring myself to say we will win today, it just don't happen for us. However if the new boys put in a shift and they all fight for each other then a draw? Maybe just maybe? IOWT
