IAN Holloway has revealed that centre back Danny Shittu is a major doubt for Millwall's trip to Burnley this weekend with a groin strain.
Holloway said: "Danny's got a sore groin. I think it will keep him out.
"Obviously we're already without Shane Lowry, who's suspended. I like that kid, I think he's going to be a really good player.
"He's very important to us with his aggression, getting us up the field and with the way he organises the back four.
"Paul Robinson is a lot fitter than he was, so Danny's injury will give somebody else a chance in the team.
"We're fighting for our lives and they're fighting to go up, so there is pressure either way."
Another player who could return to the fold this weekend is Scott McDonald.
Holloway revealed last week that he had asked the Australian to "deal with how he feels and where he is in his mind."
"He has been absolutely fine," Holloway said. "He looks sharp, he looks happy – he looks the way he should have done.
"I've got some half-decent choices up front now."
