MILLWALL have signed Simeon Jackson on a deal until the end of the season.

Jackson became a free agent on Friday evening when he parted company with German side Eintracht Braunschweig, and the Lions have moved swiftly to snap him up.

The 26-year-old flew back to London last night and travelled to The Den on Saturday for talks and a medical.

He watched Millwall's game against Reading from the stands.

Simeon looked good when he played for Norwich in the Prem so at championship level should be an excellent addition, sign him up Ollie. IOWD

very good signing, very quick, natural goalscorer, very defoe like. clever move by someone at millwall to go and dig him out of germany, very well done.

So much for the £100,000+ spent on the Portugal idea! No doubt IH is best man for the job but 1pt from 9? Needs to sort things out quickly! Passion and personality aside. Millwall need results fast!

Bet you wish you'd waited until after the game until signing Simeon 😉

Will he be playing next week at Burnley? He should all the other strikers got on today!!!

Concerned that we have only signed him until the end of the season. Morison and Campbell loan periods will have expired. Jackson and Easter will be out of contract and McDonald could also have gone unless he is prepared to change his attitude. That will leave Marquis as the only permanent striker on our books. IH will then have to find 3 or 4 strikers for the new season. Mind you other than Jackson who hasn't yet played a gamed the rest probably aren't worth keeping anyway!

@denslions: I hope the agreement includes a first option to buy clause as I reckon this lad will score goals. Don't want to lose him to anothet team if he does well. Also thought Moro did well winning the headers and holding the ball up and linking with other strikers. He was the one highlight up front IMO.

I suggested SJ as a Millwall player just before we signed Moro when he was banging them for Rushden & Diamonds. However, in truth, I can't see him scoring any more goals than any of the strikers we currently have. We desperately need a couple of reliable & decent CBs cos it's no good us scoring 3 if we let in 4, is it? Hopefully, Fordey will be back soon but our defence needs a massive overhaul. Sorry to sound so negative, just being realistic.
