IAN Holloway has left a player out of Millwall's trip to Portugal for their winter training camp because of poor fitness.
The Lions squad fly to the Algarve today for a week of triple sessions and intense running as Holloway bids to improve energy levels.
But Millwall's new boss has ordered one senior professional to remain in London because he is too far off the pace.
Those who are on the plane will fly from Gatwick to Faro Airport this afternoon.
"I've had to leave one behind because he needs to get a damn sight fitter," said Holloway.
Of the club's younger players, only John Marquis will travel to the continent.
"I can't take any of the U21s," Holloway said. "Marquis is going.
"I owe it to the other lot, who are under contract, to try to get them doing what I want, and for them to show me that they can respond to me.
"But I've seen enough in the U21s, let me tell you. The first team better watch out because some of the youngsters have impressed me immensely."
