EX-MILLWALL midfielder Marc Bircham has returned to the club as first team coach under new manager Ian Holloway.
Bircham has been coaching QPR's development squad for the past four seasons but says the opportunity to return to The Den was one he could not turn down.
Also joining Holloway's backroom staff is experienced former manager Des Bulpin, who has been managing the U18s side at Crystal Palace.
Bircham told QPR's official site: "It has been a really tough decision to leave Loftus Road because of the affection I have for the club.
"I have loved every minute of my time at QPR as a coach, as I did as a player, especially working with Harry (Redknapp) and his staff over the last year or so.
"Ultimately though, the opportunity to join Millwall and to link up with Ollie again, was one I couldn't turn down.
"I want to manage at first team level one day and this is the next stage of my development as a coach."
