CARETAKER boss Neil Harris says the visit of table-topping Leicester City to The Den on New Year's Day should hold no fear for Millwall.
Harris believes his players could have no better motivation ahead of the game than to record a vital win in front of their own fans, who he says have a vital role to play.
"It will be a completely different game from the one at Doncaster and I'm sure there will be a great atmosphere inside The Den," Harris told the club's official site.
"I certainly think Leicester are the best team in the League at the moment, and we're in a transitional period between managers.
"Fitz and I are not going to need to motivate the players because they know what it is all about. A big crowd at The Den, the league leaders coming to town – what more, as a player, do you want?
"The fans will be here in numbers and will do all they can to get behind the boys. That's a huge help to the players, and everyone in the dressing room should relish chances like this because there's no better crowd to play in front of than ours.
"Having said that, the players have still got to perform in the same way as they did at Doncaster; full of commitment, desire and fighting spirit.
"For Scott and I, we have got to draw energy, enthusiasm and excitement out of them because they have to play in the right manner. With a little bit more quality in the final third I am sure we can get a positive result."
