Preview: Millwall vs. Nottingham Forest

MILLWALL boss Steve Lomas will once again be forced to shuffle his pack for the visit of Nottingham Forest to The Den on Tuesday night.

Guy Moussi is ineligible to face his parent club while Nicky Bailey, who missed the Leicester City defeat through suspension, is ruled out with a minor knee ligament injury.

But Lomas hopes Liam Trotter will be fit to start after a groin problem and Martyn Waghorn comes back into contention having sat out Saturday's game at the King Power Stadium.

The Lions manager has hinted that the likes of Steve Morison, Andy Keogh and Lee Martin could be involved after they came on against the Foxes.

Andy Reid could feature for Forest after a hamstring injury.

David Vaughan (hamstring) is a doubt, while Jamaal Lascelles is banned.

Chris Cohen (knee), Kelvin Wilson (back) and Danny Collins (ankle) are definitely out.

COYL!! Let's have a clean sheet for a start, a couple of early goals to settle our nerves, then one in the second for a 3-0 win!!

@dpendet: dependet, i will have a pint of what your having mate, lets hope you have it right, but even if we get that result its only papering over the cracks, we can not put a good run together. All we can hope for is 1 place above the drop the way he sets us up.

So looks like chaplow and jimmy in cm, can't see trotter being rushed back, prob on bench, gonna be a hard game but forest got quite a few players out aswel, so good news, good to have waghorn back, need to stay tight defensively tonight, scoring is gonna be our problem I think, can't see Mc D scoring unless its a deflection lol, as for keogh, morro and easter just think its pot luck if they get a goal..COYL looks like a scrappy 1-0 win hopefully...

@Eightieswall: If we played Bailey Ithink we may have stood a chance, now I am desponant. Oh well, Trotter has been playing well, so I guess Jimmy will have to plug the gap.

Shame about Bailey. Is it only our players that pick up their injuries while they're serving suspensions or in training or there are internationals going on and we haven't got a game?
Please Millwall make us proud tonight!

Think we will need 3 goals to win, as can see Forest getting a couple. Hope i'm wrong and the defence can gain some confidence from a well earned clean sheet. Looks like yet another re-shuffled team but that's how it is with loanee's in & out all the time.
Could be a tough night for SL & co who needs another out-of-the-blue Blackpool type performance.. or there could be trouble ahead !!

Millwall's biggest problem, (out of the 100 we have) is concentration. A very large percentage of our goals are scored in the first 5 and last 5 minutes of each half. Always on edge! I hate watching at those times! I still think we'll be fine this year, despite our amazingly poor start. Better team by far on paper than this time last season, only difference was a goalscorer who could score out of nothing, nobby Wood! We were 5th 12 months ago...

@timchimes: I don't know if you notice but whenever a team is playing badly the number of those on the "injury list" icreases. It is a sign of something wrong at the heart of a club when players suddenly become injured and do not want to play. Not casting aspertions on Bailey at all but it is more than a coincidence that down the years the injury list piles up when a club is up against it.

1 win in 8 and that is a jammy win against perhaps the worst team in the league - why should we win? I just don't see how Lomas has the wit to engineer a win tonight - I hope I am wrong - I will take a draw all day long

Tough game again let's hope Trotter is fit enough to play he is a our best player by miles at the moment. These next two home games are crucial for MIllwall a win tonight would do nicely otherwise it will put pressure on Saturday's result. Hope the fans can raise the team tonight.

This is 'bounce back' eh SL - we are in trouble. That was 2 points flushed away against a struggling Forest side.
