Preview: Leicester City vs. Millwall

STEVE Lomas will be forced to make at least two changes to his side for the trip to Leicester City, with Nicky Bailey suspended and Martyn Waghorn ineligible.

Bailey picked up his fifth booking of the season against Barnsley and serves a one-match ban, with fit-again Jimmy Abdou likely to replace him in midfield.

Under the terms of his loan agreement, Waghorn cannot face his parent club.

Jermaine Easter could start on the right flank in Waghorn's place, or Millwall boss Lomas could partner Steve Morison and Scott McDonald up front in a 4-4-2 formation.

Andy Keogh is in the travelling party and is likely to come into the matchday 18.

Liam Trotter is close to returning from a groin injury but the Foxes game comes too soon.

Anthony Knockaert is available for Leicester after serving a suspension. Ritchie De Laet is fit after a shin problem but Sean St Ledger (groin) and Tom Hopper (shin) are out.

      @DiggerWall:
Wrong. If we play on the counter we will get slaughtered, because they will have more of the ball. Our best form of action in any game is to attack. We aren't good enough when we have the ball to be patient and bide our time. 4-4-2, direct football is the best way we should be playing. And by direct I don't mean the long ball.

@82wall: 82 if he plays two up front what pairing will be best,i dont think mcdonald and morrisons style,s of play will compliment each other,i would like to see mcdonald and easter start because imo easter has more movement than morrison to stretch their defense .

I wouldn't like to see easter on the right, so would prefer 4-4-2,worried were gonna lack creativity without bailey and trotter,as jimmy and moussi arnt the most creative players, chaplow not looked much better tho to be fair, so feeney and woolford on the wings, try get some balls in the box and would start morro and mc donald up front, let easter come off the bench, be nice to see keogh given a chance as sub.. Be happy with a draw but COYL!!!!

Will we be made to pay for all the noise we made about Wood a year ago? In hindsight I suppose his decision has been vindicated. He just did things in what looked like an underhand way.

@JonnyBanks: jonny just to show there is no hard feelings i agree with you about wood, after all the man has got to do what is best for himself, but it was underhanded.
and wappings answer to your post was having a little pop at people like me and not you.
see i can be nice LOL.

For me I'd go 4-4-2 with McDonald and Morison up front. Have Feeney on the right and Woolford on the left. What ever SL decides, I hope we get something out of this game! COYL!!!

Would like to think that this will be one of those games when simple passion, resilience and tenacity can overcome Leicester's ability to play Football! however I must be honest and say that in my opinion we will be extremely fortunate if we can get a point from this fixture.
As for team formation and tactics, we simply need our selected side to turn up, if they do then we have a chance.
Personally, and it's only my own opinion, I wouldn't put Morison in my snow clearing team, the stuff would have melted by the time he got round to shovelling it!! Give Easter and MacDonald a chance up front, they have both got us out of sticky moments before.
    COYL

As usual we always fall behind within first 15 min, why cant it be the other way around? Seems Feeney is having a good game.

Go now SL you are clearly clueless and the board cannot surely wait any more to realise this fact.

To comments above, did you really expect us to get anything from this game?

They're top of the league and one of our best players couldn't play as he belongs to Leicester who don't even need him or Wood it seems!

Think we've got 2 home games coming up next and 4 points from them should be our realistic aim.

Bit of a gap now between us and bottom 3. We may be doing s*** but for the time being it looks like there are 3 worse in this division 🙂
