JAMES Henry believes Millwall are well-placed to capitalise on their end-of-season form and mount a play-off challenge when the new campaign kicks-off in August.
The Lions' incredible resurgence in the latter stages of last season coincided with the return to form of winger Henry, whose consistent battling performances were a revelation.
"I started quite slowly after a really good pre-season, which was a shame," he told the club's official site.
"Luckily I managed to pick it up and played ten or fifteen games in which I felt I did really well.
"I got my head down and worked hard in the gym on a few bits. I knew the defensive side of my game was something I always needed to work on.
"Scoring a goal just eluded me but I finished with ten or eleven assists, which I was happy with.
"The whole squad gelled together over the last couple months of the season. We're looking to take that form into next year and make a challenge for the play-offs."
