BRISTOL City will ask to extend the loan deal of Karleigh Osborne until January.

Osborne, who has started two games for the League One outfit since leaving Millwall on a temporary basis, has impressed Robins manager Sean O'Driscoll.

The 25-year-old is due to return to The Den at the end of the month but City are hoping to negotiate an extension before the close of the loan window next Thursday.

O'Driscoll told the Bristol Post: "Extending Karleigh Osborne's loan is a priority and that is something we are looking into.

"It needs Millwall and the player himself to be in agreement and then the deal needs to be right for us. If all those strands can come together, then he will be a useful player to have.

"Karleigh covers a number of positions for us and represents the tried and trusted option rather than another youngster."

Good for him to get game time and off our wage bill. Still think we should hang on to him though.

@NICKOLA: For the right fee Nick, d'ya reckon 50 grand would be enough to give 'em to take him off our hands?
