RICHARD Chaplow and Andy Keogh scored in a 2-2 draw with rivals West Ham in a behind-closed-doors friendly at Upton Park on Friday afternoon.

Millwall used the game to give a number of first-team players much-needed match minutes, with the likes of Carlton Cole and Joe Cole featuring for a strong Hammers side .

New signing Guy Moussi lasted an hour, while Mark Beevers, Alan Dunne, Jack Smith, Steve Morison, Lee Martin and Shane Lowry all played 90 minutes.

Millwall: Bywater, Dunne, Beevers, Lowry, Smith, Feeney (Onyedinma), Moussi (Wright), Chaplow (Powell), Martin, Keogh, Morison.

West Ham: Howes, Ruddock, Potts, Chambers, McCartney, J.Cole (Miles), Trialist (Fanimo), C.Cole, Maiga, Jarvis (Whitehead), Diarra (Turgott).

@sblion: why would anyone need telling for a "behind-closed-doors" game?????

We pulled out all the stops to get Chaplow at the den and beat a lot of competition to get him, so let's see him get a good run in the team in his favoured position of centre midfield with bailey, pushing trotter just behind the main striker .

@dpendet: I would play Bailey behind front 2 and Trotter in Mid with Chaplow

Stop buying them. You'd be surprised how quickly prices drop when nobody is buying.@Block 8:

Interesting that Onyedinma and Powell were involved. At least Lomas is bringing them through

Good to see Moussi played, have a feeling he will do well for us and bring added height to the team. Mind you Chile gave England a football lesson last night and they are not a physically big side.

Been following and supporting threads on here.
This is the starting eleven I'd start with, assuming those selected are fit, versus Barnsley.
Formations to me are crap. You play your best eleven and we are Millwall and we're at home.
I acknowledge that some of my selections may not be available, but their replacements should be up for it....
    Forde
    Hoyte Beevers Robinson Malone
    Bailey. Moussi, Trotter, Chaplow,
    McDonald, Wahhorn.
    Subs-
Bywater, Dunne, Shittu,Smith, Easter, Morison, Abdou

@NICKOLA: I agree with the back 5 but your midfield seems to be lacking in real width and the formation is different to what we've been playing. Granted we haven't been winning but in the long term it's best we stick with it IMO. I'd have:
      Forde
      Hoyte Beevers Robinson Malone
      Bailey Abdou/Moussi
      Waghorn Trotter Woolford
      McDonald

I don't think anyone from the front 4 deserves to be dropped though, like you, I'd like to see Chaplow in the starting line up as well.

I was pleased to hear a large flock of south London pidgeons landed on the north and south bank just before kick off .left their mark and returned to friendlier sanctuary over the water.

we recently played west ham in a closed doors friendly, but there has been no slagging off of the manager lomas for daring to have anything to do with the so called scum of east london.
could it be that the anti west ham brigade are beginning to relent in their attitude to the so called scum, and realise all this animosity towards west ham is a load of b******s at last.
