Trotter and Millwall teammates grow taches for Movember

LIAM Trotter is confident there will be a good Millwall showing against Barnsley after the international break – at least on the moustache front!

Trotter has encouraged six Lions teammates to join him in taking part in Movember and is helping to raise money for men's health charities in the process.

He explained: "The ones taking part are Paul Robinson, Steve Morison, Mark Beevers, Scott Malone, Richard Chaplow and Lee Martin – they have all jumped on board and are doing alright to be fair.

"Beeves has got an impressive handlebar going on and he's growing into it. There ought to be a good showing for the Barnsley game.

"I have kind of got a cross between a handlebar and a cowboy moustache – it was a bit a random, but I wanted to mix it up a little this year. I've left it like that but I've got to have a shave today – after that it's going to be pretty prominent!

"I've had a few donations – from friends, family and a few that were anonymous, who I assume must be Millwall fans. It's nice that people are chipping in and it's appreciated."

Perhaps they can play YMCA as the players run out against Barnsley and we could all join in.

What a scoop we are nearly half way through November and you are reporting this, well I glad that Liam Trotter wont be growing a tache as it might affect his speed, if it does then he will be standing still, yes do your bit for charity but lets also do your bit to get us up the f****** table and out of danger.

We are now 20th in the league after 15 games and amassed the grand total of 14 points at this stage of the season, get on with what you all get paid for.

It's called banter and wit and it's what gets us through our crap times so no need to knock it. We all know it's a good cause and it wont stop us from donating so relax.

Yes, signing a contract would protect everyone's interests. Time for Trotter to grow a pair and perform consistently in a Millwall shirt!

I know its for charity but maybe the boys need to stop worrying about what they look like and larking about and concentrate on improving performances. Losing patience with this squad now. Time to get sorted or get f*****!

If they are bald they should be made to wear syrups with reverse Mohicans!

    F*** the movember rubbish.

I will gladly donate £50 for every goal we score against Barnsley, and £10 for every goal scored up until Christmas.

Here's the catch, I will only pay that money if we are victorious on the day when the goals are scored.

I reckon I'll be in for about £20 the way things are going.

tell ya what im growing! and that's f****** tired of the b******* that pops up on this site day to day . This would be ok if we we're in burnleys position but we ain't , why don't they grow a backbone and then grow some confidence to actually win a game that would be spot on. And we will lose 2-0 against barnsley mark my words !

The moustaches will make us look like scousers, so the ref will give us 2 dodgy penalties and send off the barnsley keeper.

Some serious divs on this site. People all over the country are doing it. Football players can still take part and if they get asked about it then they will comment, if your angry its on here or angry they get asked the question, it's not the player you want to have the hump with. And it's for charity! How many of you here HONESTLY do things for charity. Not many would be my guess. Some people just moan and s*** people off for any old reason!
