PAUL Robinson has paid tribute to Kenny Jackett after the Millwall boss scooped the Championship manager of the month award for April.
Jackett has been recognised for overseeing five wins in the final six matches of last season, a run of form which saw the Lions finish the season top of the division's form table – ahead of promoted duo Reading and Southampton.
"I'm really pleased for him," Robinson told the club's official site.
"It is a fantastic achievement and if you look at the results, the award is fully deserved. It was a great run at a crucial time and it is nice for Kenny to get the recognition he deserves.
"The results we managed to achieve are great credit to him and this award is an accolade that he can take real pride in over the summer."
