MILLWALL frontman Steve Morison is set for a spell on the sidelines after undergoing surgery on a double hernia.
Morison missed the Lions 2-2 draw with Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday and manager Steve Lomas confirmed after the game that the 29-year-old had gone under the knife.
James Henry (illness) and Jermaine Easter (hamstring) were also absent.
"It is very disappointing," Lomas said. "Morison will be the biggest problem – he has a double hernia which has hopefully been fixed today.
"I won't know how long Stevie will be out for until we've spoken to the surgeon and found out exactly what's wrong.
"Jermaine had a tweaked hamstring and didn't feel 100 percent. With Stevie already out, we just couldn't risk losing another striker for a period of time. James will be okay, he just had a little stomach complaint."
