STRIKE duo Dany N'Guessan and John Marquis have been recalled to the Millwall squad for Saturday's match against Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough.

Lions boss Steve Lomas has taken extra firepower with him to Yorkshire as his side bid to score their first goal, and pick up their first points, of the new season.

Lomas has hinted that a few of his players are carrying knocks.

Lee Martin could be handed his first start for the club after coming on as a substitute www.honeytraveler.com/buy-revia/ against Huddersfield Town last weekend, whilst club captain Paul Robinson has been tipped to earn a recall to the side.

Goalkeeper David Forde and midfielder Liam Trotter, who have both undergone knee surgery in recent months, are expected to return to first-team action in mid-September.

Wednesday defender Reda Johnson is expected to make his first start of the season after recovering from tendonitis.

Chris Maguire and Atdhe Nuhiu are set to start up front, but midfielder Kieran Lee and defender Joe Mattock remain sidelined.

    What is going on at least one of these players was mentioned by SL to be trying to find them another club to free up money, but the circus just goes on, lets just hope if he use'e either one of them then they dont read the script and we actually get something from the game fingers crossed rub my rabbits foot and anythink else I can think of oh get my Roseary out and pray with that.

    Am pleased DNG is in the squad, if he is played on the left. with Morison , Easter, Mcdonald included as well SL has plenty of attacking options. Their confidence will improve if they can find the back of the net and gather some points. Get behind the team and end the carping ...well at least until Sat night! Hopefully I will be typing praise for a great result.

      @Peckhamlad: Peckham, and would you play just two in the middle with those 4 up front or would two of them augment the midfield positions and would also like to know what two mdifielders you would use with these four.

    Isn't DNG our top scorer?? - give him a chance - at least he knows he needs a performance, unlike the others on big money! COYL

    Sounds like a plan. Get Martin/DNG on the wing and then can play Chaplow through the middle alongside Bailey. I'm hoping we start with MacDonald&Easter up front as Morison doesn't look hungry enough and could cause more damage as an impact player...

      @davesavagesleftfoot: Morison has had no decent service, just long balls launched at him, thats not how to play him, If we play on the floor and to feet im sure the team will score goals.

    Although I think jm could be a decent player in the future and dng is awful surely lomas has got to be hoping to get infront and get them both on to put them in the shop window?! This can be the only reasonable explanation.

    Lomas has pulled a masterstroke here.......... Can't you see ?........ He's brought JM and DNG into the matchday squad to get Sheff Weds into a false sense of security . They'll be too busy looking over at our bench laughing to see us score !

      @Big Millwall:
      How about a 6-1 defeat?

      I'm afraid N'Guessan and Marquis coming back is like all our worst nightmares from the end of last season.

    So many negative comments JM & DNG I can understand why, don't think they will play its an advert to sell them easier or loan them out, when they get picked for first team. I hope.

    Really hope we get a result today. I still think Lomas is taking us in the right direction and we will become a decent outfit. I still cant believe people are calling for his head after 3 league games but thats what you get for being ex West Ham. All that matters is Millwall start winning
