Preview: Millwall vs. Huddersfield Town

MILLWALL will include Arran Lee-Barrett in their squad for the visit of Huddersfield Town tomorrow after signing the goalkeeper as emergency cover.

Former Ipswich stopper Lee-Barrett has been drafted in to provide back-up for Stephen Bywater. Andy Marshall, who signed a similar short-term agreement last week, has picked up a calf injury.

Bywater will continue between the sticks in the absence of first choice David Forde.

Lions boss Steve Lomas could shake his team up after two defeats, with the likes of Lee Martin, Scott McDonald, Jermaine Easter and Paul Robinson pushing for starts.

Striker Andy Keogh returned unscathed from international duty with Ireland.

Jonathan Hogg will return to the Terriers squad after illness, while Northern Ireland duo Oliver Norwood and Martin Paterson, who played against Russia in midweek, are fit.

@Old_Les: Les, was that yet another punch thrown at a fellow Millwall fan? Where was you sitting at Wembley? Ha! Why all the hatred? We all follow the same team!

@Adsy77777: I am struggling to put an age on dear Old Les. After deep thought I will hazard a guess at 112 with the mental age of 15.

I love some of his points but I also love watching Scooby Doo when the mood suits.

Andy Marshall already injured. Well, send him back. And I don`t see the point in yet another keeper, we must have some youth-keeper who could step in as cover if necessary. Lomas is spending like a drunken sailor.

I think it's important we try and get behind the team and lomas even if things ain't going our way it can't do anyone any good if the crowd are constantly on their backs. I get the feeling some people want lomas to fail

It looks like we are collecting goalkeepers as well as midfielders. Perhaps thats the answer to our leaky defence.
I can't believe the injuries that are picked up at this club without even making the pitch what on earth goes on at the training ground ?
Have to start wrapping the luvvies in cotton wool till match day.

Can't make the game tomorrow. Gutted however I still do not feel overly confident. Confidence is key not just for the players but fans too. If we win tomorrow every post will be about play offs and promotion like they were 2 weeks ago. Not getting carried away but keeping the faith. COYL give us something to be happy about.

Yeah, Wp a calf strain cos ell sorry but, Marshall picked up a calf strain cos he's old!!
What difference does it make who the reserve keeper is ? When was the last time you saw a Millwall keeper replaced during a game ? Poor old Lomas can't win with you lot.
Millwall ARE going to win tomorrow if he picks a 442 formation.

From Sky sports transfer watch app:

18.15 - Millwall manager Steve Lomas has confirmed that Nicky Shorey is still training with the club but says players will have to go to make room for new arrivals.

@JonnyBanks: At least Shorey will be fit to play straight away with all that training he's been doing thats if we can raise the cash. After all this I really hope he signs, he's got more patience than me thats for sure.

      @Micky Lions:
Wouldn't normally panic, but after just two weeks I can only see this getting worse. Fans have lost all confidence in this manager's ability and our crowds will continue to fall.

If he goes, I'd like to see Ambler go too.

No points, no goals, no clue and no hope.
Wtf is going on in defence yet another free header from a set piece, and as for attack 11 shots 2 on target.
Its not even Sunday league standard.

Well that's it for me, I was prepared to give SL a chance but it seems he has taken on too much. His signings disappoint- a lot of hasbeens now Millwall prop up the league, we are unable to score. Millwall will struggle until they sign a decent striker. Every Saturday is the same. gloom and misery. If this continues we are headed for league 1. This is the worse start since 1977, as far as I am concerned Morison might as well go back to where he came from.
