MILLWALL have revived their interest in out-of-contract Stevenage defender Scott Laird.
The Lions made an enquiry for Laird in the January transfer window and boss Kenny Jackett went on a personal scouting mission to watch the left-back in action.
But a move never materialised and Jackett instead signed Hamburg's Lennard Sowah to provide back-up to first-choice Tony Craig.
Laird will be a free agent in the summer and NewsAtDen understands Millwall are one of several Championship clubs looking to snap up the 23-year-old when his deal expires.
Two full-backs are thought to be high on Jackett's summer shopping list, but he will have to fend off serious competition if he is to secure the former Plymouth trainee's signature.
The defender has made 52 appearances for Stevenage this season, scoring an impressive eight goals.
