MILLWALL midfielder Liam Trotter believes he proved a point by scoring against his former side Ipswich Town.
Trotter swept home the Lions' second goal in their 3-0 win at Portman Road on Saturday as the 23-year-old returned to the club where he began his career.
A product of Ipswich's academy, Trotter joined Millwall on a two-year deal in 2010 after the Tractor Boys opted not to renew his contract.
"I'd be a liar if I said I hadn't been looking forward to this match for a very long time," he told the Daily Mirror, after taking his goal tally for the season to seven.
"I felt there was a bit of unfinished business left for me at Ipswich."
