SIMEON Jackson, who Steve Lomas had admitted was one of his striker targets, has signed for newly-promoted Bundesliga outfit Eintracht Braunschweig.
Jackson had widely been expected to join Championship rivals Bournemouth after leaving Canada's Gold Cup squad to attend to "club matters" yesterday, but has opted for a move to Germany instead.
The 26-year-old has signed a two-year contract. He said: "I am happy to be joining Eintracht Braunschweig and am looking forward to testing myself in Bundesliga 1."
General manager Marc Arnold added: "We're happy to have signed Jackson. He is the second new signing for our attacking lines, he is a flexible player and good on the counter."
