CAPTAIN Paul Robinson hailed Millwall's 'terrific' fans after the Lions' 1-0 win at Portsmouth on Tuesday night.

Around 1,000 supporters made the trip to Fratton Park to witness Harry Kane's first-half winner as Kenny Jackett's side took a major step towards Championship survival.

"It was a great atmosphere and I have to say our fans were terrific," he told the club's official site.

"For so many to travel down on a Tuesday night was brilliant and I'm plased that we could give them something to shout about.

"That win was for them and I hope they are still buzzing at work today."
