Striker Hulse leaves Millwall to return to parent club QPR

STRIKER Rob Hulse has left Millwall to return to parent club QPR just three days after being booed off at The Den, NewsAtDen can confirm.

Hulse was jeered whilst being substituted against Blackburn Rovers in midweek and the reaction of the crowd has played a major role in his departure.

While the forward's loan at The Den has not actually been terminated, it has mutually been decided that he will play no part in the final three games of the season.

The 33-year-old has scored one goal in 15 appearances since joining the club in January.

    Good job an all
He came on this site and said he "no longer worries about scoring goals".
He's just proved what a t*** pot he really is
If he had any metal he'd let his balls drop and show his kids what men do when others tell em they're not performing.
You can hear the conversation he has with old arry boy," poxy club and s*** fans that lot "
Harry - " yeah, I've been sayin that for yrs son.
F*** em. You nicked a couple quid off em anyway.
Hulse the one thing I will thank you for is leaving early cause if you stayed I believe you would have most definately relegated us,
Now, with three games to go our other strikers may feel relieved that KJ can not pick you ahead of them. Cheers.

Haha I'm over the moon. I ain't felt this excited about a relegation battle in all my life. This is the best thing that has happened to us this season. Not getting wood has cost us the playoffs but getting rid of this thing may just keep us up.

Thank God for that KJ didn't have the guts to send him back, run rabbit run Hulse,go and rot at QPR it's a shame you stayed as long as you did ,lets now get rid of Tyson and all the other hangers on.
Play Trotter up front Keogh of him don't know why but everyone stands of Trotter so lets use his height and he does have ball skills and up his work rate can't be worse than Wev tried, two wingers and give it a go.
We have 3 games s*** or bust and hope the players actually give it a go,come you lions.

It would be nice if Hulse or Jackett came out with a statement to admit that his loan really hadn't worked out. Otherwise the story will just be taken-up by the media as those nasty Millwall scumbags hounding out a player. I'm sure it could be done diplomatically, without anyone admitting how truly awful he was.

Micky at least they can't throw the race card at us, too many times when we've boo'd black players we've been accused of being racist.
It will also send a message to young players that to play consistently s*** will not be excepted even if there isn't adequate replacements. Any sports writers that have sat in our press box will have no justification to write anything but negativity towards him.
Lets just enjoy the moment chaps.

    P****!!!!

If Harry really is Houdini then maybe he can work wonders with Hulse and manage to get him to score in a training session 5-A-Side match?

When you are old and slow the one thing you must have is experience and composure and the ability to put the ball in the net. Hulse did not and cost us dear in too many games.

@JonnyBanks: Down the years we've had a lot of journeymen strikers who were nearing the end of their careers, and it rarely works out. The only one who really did the business was Steve Claridge, though I remember thinking Kerry Dixon still looked a cut-above.

@Sidcup_Lad: How could I forget big Dion! That was a good bit of business bringing in someone like him - helped to kick-start our push for the play-offs again. He might have missed that sitter in the return leg, but what a moment his equaliser was up at Birmingham - still great to watch.

Never felt he was the answer and unfortunately we were right. We all hoped that KJ would pull a blinder and bring the best out of him but he should have shown a bit more desire a few years ago and joined us whilst he still had ability

I'm glad he's gone too. But , he never ever picked himself ! KJ needs to accept responsibility for signing an expensive wrongen. Surely there's a lower league frontman who's hungry and able to do the " target man " job at half the cost of Hulse,

Hulse was not expensive, we did not pay all his 16k a week wage I think we only paid 50% tops.

@lukesmithmfc: Luke, so 8k a week, that equates to about 276 supporters paying £29 per ticket just for his wages! What a waste of money.
Couldn't believe it when I was told he was joining and how disappointed I was, now it's music to my ears that he's gone. Fank f*** for that.

Real, even two bob is too much
Someone at start of jan said we're signing him and got absolutely murdered for. A couple weeks later they ate their words.
I just wish he was as honest in his performances as he was in his first interview with news at den.
Anyway good bit of news to report, the first piece of the jigsaw has been placed
Watford done Leicester, so if hull are serious about getting second place then they can do it tomorrow by doing Barnsley.

The other strikers we have and I use the term STRIKERS very loosely cannot do any worse, now lets get 3 points and Forde to score the winner from the spot in the 90 th minute pease don't let whoever plays up front to take the pen FFs

What do people think that future potential loan players will think!? Loan players that we rely on massively.
Can understand why Jackett is p***** off because the loan market has been unlucky one this season. It worked with Wood but showed everyone how good he was, Afobe,Tyson, Chaplow, St Ledger Injured & Hulse was just poor but at the end of the day they can be sent back.

James I don't think there's too much to worry about. He got boo'd cause he was worse than poor. The way he left was completely his choice, the man had no fight in him and he proved it by the interview he had on news at den and by choosing to go back to qpr cause he received 8000 boo's. but don't worry, next season we'll have a different set of loans who'll know what's expected of em.

Just think the crowd sometimes can be too quick to heron players backs hence why we are better away from home.
Don't get me wrong I'm with everyone else on Hulse but f*** me The Den is meant to be a place that oppositions fear, not our own players.

Yeah you have a very good point there James, but don't you think the management upped the expectancy level when they said how much was available for wood and that if he doesn't sign then we have the funds for adequate replacements and at the same time say we're going all out for the playoffs

Yep, confirmed on website, Hulse remains with us....wonder if Wembley has any affect on KJ if he really has decided to go. I would be a bit dissapointed in him if he has, Leicester will be queuing up to replace that tool Pearson. Hope thst rumour is wrong though, I think KJ deserves a chance to rebuild the squad.
