Jackett searching for winning formula ahead of Rovers visit

KENNY Jackett admits it is down to him to find "the winning formula" as Millwall seek to confirm their Championship status with victory over Blackburn Rovers.

Jackett was unhappy with the Lions' limp performance at Huddersfield Town last weekend and says he could freshen things up for the visit of Rovers on Tuesday.

The game is one of two Millwall have in hand over the teams around them in the league table and a win would put lingering fears of relegation to bed once and for all.

Jackett said: "The important thing for us after Saturday is that we get our home form right – three of our remaining four games are at The Den and we should see that as a big opportunity.

"We obviously buy lexapro online cheap have to find the winning formula at home. We have to be physically stronger than we were at Huddersfield because we were out-fought in certain areas and that's unlike us.

"We know a lot about Blackburn and they know a lot about us so we have to lick our wounds, make sure we get it right and move on again very quickly.

"I have to make sure I pick the right team with enough freshness and energy to get us over the line. It's a high run of games that we've had so we need to get every single detail right."

Don't care who plays just get it done.

None of our strikers can hit a barn door, play wilkinson, heard a lot about him but have seen nothing, give him a real test to see if he is really all that

Normally I would agree, Banksy, but this game is massive tonight & KJ will play the team we would expect, imo. I hope after we get 3 points tonight and are safe that he would play the likes of Wilkinson and any other promising youngster from the U21 squad.

Time to go back to basics, just play the 11 most committed players we have who will give us 100% in a lions shirt,I'll have pride and passion over skill and ability in these type of games all day long! (which is just as well because there ain't much skill and ability floating about).

Someone should of gone to specsavers cos KJ you have only found this "winning formula " 4 times since the turn of the year (in the league).

I'm with the Verminhater of this one
Whoever he puts out tonight needs to play their game of the season regardless if KJ plays any one of his seven different formations that he has played this year or his usual playing players out of position. Whatever he has been doing needs to work.

I can live with losing (f**k me we have been used to it) but i cant abide losing when the players have shown no heart, effort, passion etc, etc. When will these players learn in games that they have us from their first sliding tackle that they make, their first block tackle, their fully committed run down the flank, their rant at the ref, their push on the opposing player for a dirty tackle on a team mate! we will roar you on if you show us some fight boys, Regardless if we have 8000 there tonight or 17000. Lets put these northern monkey's to bed tonight boys!! MIIIILLLLLL

IMHO this is what we need to do, in summary:
    1. Play the team in a more attacking formation, 4-4-2 rather than 4-5-1.
    2. Play the players in their correct positions.
    3. We should impose our (passing) style on the opposition from the off, and not resort to long balls and head tennis.
    4. The players need to show some determination, to tackle, to create pressure when the opposition have the ball, to chase up loose balls, and generally to put in a shift.
