KENNY Jackett was full of praise for his Millwall side after their goalless draw at Cardiff.

The Lions boss was particularly pleased to have kept a clean sheet against one of the top teams in the division.

And he admitted the visitors could have secured all three points on another day after Andy Keogh's second-half strike was ruled out for offside.

"It was a battling performance and it is about time we had a 0-0 draw away from home," Jackett told the club's official website.

"We scrapped well, we worked hard and we were brave. We kept two up front for the whole game and I thought that was the right thing to do. The wide men were very diligent and helped out the midfield players.

"It was an excellent clean sheet and we had a couple of good chances on the break. I wouldn't say we necessarily did enough to win the game but we could have pinched it.

"We haven't taken many points off of the top sides but we are improving. You could see that in our performances against Leeds and Southampton where we were genuinely unlucky.

"We have to keep on that thread and grind it out if we need to."
