Preview: Millwall vs. Watford

MILLWALL are set to be without midfield duo Liam Trotter and Sean St Ledger against Watford on Tuesday as they look to bounce back from their Wembley defeat.

Trotter is unlikely to be involved after the knee injury that restricted him to a substitute appearance against Wigan flared up. St Ledger rolled his ankle against the Latics and could be out for two weeks.

Their absence could see Chris Taylor deployed in central midfield alongside Jimmy Abdou and Jack Smith, although Chelsea loanee George Saville and Josh Wright will be hoping to be involved.

Cup-tied duo Martyn Woolford and Jermaine Easter are available again after sitting out Saturday's FA Cup semi-final and both should be added to the squad.

Watford will be without suspended full-back Marco Cassetti after the Udinese loanee was sent-off in Saturday's away defeat to Peterborough.

The Hornets are boosted by the return of full-back Matthew Briggs and striker Alex Geijo, who have recovered from groin and knee injuries respectively.

But boss Gianfranco Zola is without defenders Tommie Hoban (ankle), Neuton (shoulder), Nyron Nosworthy (Achilles) and Fitz Hall (hamstring).

Too right, they don't turn up for the nitty gritty games. Since when has St Ledger been a midfielder? I honestly think that if we win tonight the 3 pints should be enough to keep us up.

"I honestly think that if we win tonight the 3 pints should be enough to keep us up" Apologies for the mistyping of 3 points, it was not a Freudian slip for what happened on Saturday.

Our loans since the new year have been disastrous, what s*** luck. Most of them have or will be out injured for longer than they had played for us. Apart from Chaplow who seemed to add some impetus to our game what have we got for our money.
I would like to see how much this little lot have cost us for next to no gain.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing but from that they have achieved we would have been better sticking with our own squad and having cash left for someone in the summer.
      Who'd be a manager eh ?

I was gonna say 3 pints won't be keeping me up tonight bolland 2 will be more than enough. Hic.. Hic.
Seriously though a win and a couple draws will be enough I hope, but for tonight lets just get the win and worry about the rest later.
Fed up saying the same thing before every home game.

It really doesn't matter who he plays, or in what formation, as long as they just avoid this poxy fetish they have with punting the b*stard ball as high and long into the air as possible. Its crap and it doesn't work. I don't know if the players panic, or they don't 'think' they can pass the ball, or KJ's watford back ground is shining through, but I hate it. The most successful spells we have in every game is when we keep the damn ball on the ground and pass it simply. Please please don't hoof it up the park tonight Millwall! It only worked for the old watford and wimbledon crazy gang cos the whole bloody team was assembled around that long-ball system and all of them were 6 feet 6 ! We CAN pass it, so please keep it simple and pass it (even the 20 minutes of decent play we had at Wembley was because of nice, simple, passing football). Please Kenny, football, not rugby.
