Jackett desperate for Millwall to win two in a row

KENNY Jackett says it is imperative Millwall put an end to their stop-start form with victory against Leeds United on Saturday.

The Lions boss believes his side need another 10 points to guarantee Championship survival and is desperate to reach that target sooner rather than later.

Millwall moved eight points clear of the relegation zone with a 3-0 win at Doncaster on Tuesday, and Jackett wants to capitalise on the momentum generated by that result.

"We want to back up Tuesday night’s performance and result,” he told the club's official website.

"We haven’t won twice too many times. We were almost there last week. "There were two penalties against us in the last five minutes against Southampton.

"We want to get to the 50 points total that we need.

"Leeds at home is a great fixture.”It will be a passionate atmosphere and a great game with both sides going for the win."
