MILLWALL striker Darius Henderson has denied a GBH charge in court and will stand trial at the end of the season.

The 30-year-old, who has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm without intent, entered a not guilty plea at St. Albans Magistrates last Thursday, the Crown Prosecution Service said.

The case has been adjourned and will be re-opened on May 11 for committal to the Crown Court.

Henderson was arrested during the early hours of New Year's Day after a diner was punched in the face at a Hertfordshire restaurant.

A 41-year-old man suffered a broken jaw.
