MILLWALL have bolstered their midfield ranks with the loan signing of Southampton's Richard Chaplow – the second new arrival at The Den in the last 24 hours.
Chaplow follows Crystal Palace forward Jermaine Easter in making the temporary move to the Lions and will go straight into the squad to face Charlton on Saturday.
Unlike Easter, Chaplow, who is a central midfielder by trade but can also play out wide, is eligible to feature in the FA Cup semi-final against Wigan Athletic at Wembley next month.
The 28-year-old, who has also played for Burnley, West Brom and Preston in his career, will remain at Millwall until the end of the season.
Chaplow was also wanted by Sheffield Wednesday, Wolves and Huddersfield.
