MILLWALL are poised to complete the loan signing of Crystal Palace striker Jermaine Easter on a deal lasting until the end of the season.
Easter returns to The Den for a second spell, having made five appearances for the Lions in 2008 on loan from Plymouth Argyle, and goes straight into the squad to face Charlton on Saturday.
The 31-year-old Wales international is not eligible to play in the FA Cup, having played against Stoke City in an earlier round of the competition, and can be recalled by the Eagles at 24 hours notice.
Easter scored and was then sent off on his debut for Millwall against Swindon Town in the 2008-09 season before leaving to join Colchester United.
He scored the winner for Palace in their 1-0 triumph at The Den last year but has been reduced to just 11 appearances this term under new manager Ian Holloway, finding the net twice.
