Jackett: Millwall's attitude at The Den must improve

MILLWALL boss Kenny Jackett has called on his side to end their home misery with a much-needed victory against table-topping Southampton on Saturday.

The Lions have lost their last three matches at The Den and Jackett says it is about time his players put an end to that run – starting with a win against Nigel Adkins' Saints.

"Too many times at The Den we've been flat and haven't had the tempo, edge or the attitude that we can know we can generate there," he told the club's official website.

"Our home form hasn't been great recently but I think that a big crowd and big opposition on Saturday will help us, but we will have to fight and scrap for every ball.

"Irrespective of who the opposition is, we have to put our performance levels right in every single department.

"We've attacked sides lately and created a high number of chances, much more than we have done at different stages of the season. It's resulting in a win or loss – lots of chances at both ends, not a lot of draws and not many stalemates.

"But now it's time for us to turn our home form around."
