MILLWALL manager Kenny Jackett felt winger James Henry was fortunate not to have broken his leg in a tackle with Leeds United defender Stephen Warnock.

Henry was stretchered off after being caught late by the former Aston Villa left-back but incredibly returned to the field five minutes later as the Lions were beaten 1-0 at Elland Road.

The former Reading trainee tweeted a picture of his bloodied leg after the game and said he could see his bone through the wound, which may yet require stitches.

"James has got stud marks all down his shin and on his knee," Jackett said. "It is a really bad one. He has done well to carry on – it could have been a broken leg to be honest, it was really that bad.

"He is very cut up and very sore. Overall he will be okay – it could have been a lot worse – but how it affects him this week now we'll have to see. We don't know whether he'll need stitches yet."
