MILLWALL striker Shaun Batt has extended his loan spell at League One outfit Leyton Orient until the end of the season.

Batt joined Orient on an initial one-month deal at the end of the January transfer window and has since gone on to make seven appearances.

The 26-year-old, who has been played both up front and on the right wing, scored in the second leg of the O's Johnstone's Paint Trophy semi-final defeat to Southend United.

Batt's contract at The Den expires in the summer and with an extension unlikely to be forthcoming, the former Peterborough man will have one eye on a permanent deal at Brisbane Road.

Shown a lot of character to come back from a nasty injury. Good luck to him and hope he gets a contract there.
