PETERBOROUGH manager Darren Ferguson has called on his players to stand up to Millwall's physicality when the sides meet at The Den on Tuesday night.

The Lions have won their last two matches against the Posh – successive victories at London Road – and Ferguson believes their strength and organisation played a part in both results.

"Everybody knows Millwall away is a tough game," he said in his pre-match press conference. "We are going to have to match them physically, that is a big part which we have spoken about.

"It's going to be a tough game but we feel we know where we can hurt them and what we need to do in terms of stopping them.

"One thing that stands out from all the games we have played against Millwall is we need to match them physically.

"They are a powerful team and well organised and that is something we are going to have to deal with. We need to make sure we look after that before we think about anything else."
