N'Guessan cameo against Luton impresses Millwall boss

KENNY Jackett believes Dany N'Guessan gave Millwall "another dimension" during his goalscoring second-half cameo against Luton Town.

N'Guessan has been the subject of speculation linking him with a loan return to Charlton but firm interest from Addicks boss Chris Powell has not materialised in recent weeks.

The 25-year-old returned to the Lions squad to face the Hatters having been left out at Blackpool the previous week and scored the final goal in a 3-0 win after coming on in the 62nd minute.

Jackett said: "I was very pleased with Dany. Whether his best position is centre forward – which is where he tells me he wants to play – I'm not sure.

"I think he is an option in a wide area when he has got a little bit more time and space – playing with your back to goal can be a very specialist position sometimes.

"He came on and gave us another dimension on the break and made one very, very good header from underneath his own crossbar that showed his commitment to the cause."

It was probably more cockey than anything else, a little reminder of "what I can do given the chance boss".
He puts to much effort into it Lincoln so I wouldn't read to much into it and why would you run around taking your shirt off cause you scored the third goal against a non league side.

I'd play him ahead of Feeney anyday.

I think DNG has something to offer but I agree with Kenny. He is not a striker

I think his best position is left wing but he doesn't use his pace enough and take players on.

Think we finally know why there's been problems with him now. Jackett thinks he's pony up front , But nguessen wants to play there so has thrown a few strops. He should get on With it and play where his manager tells him he likes him to play. Only going to make it worse arguing. He's not that good anyway.

Hope we get Gray from Luton he's looks strong, sell Danny N sell Feeny, Malone Dunny I'm gona say it sell Trotter, then get some a hole around the middle, Osbourne gives me the jitters he's not good enough for the championship, league 1 or 2 at best if peterbourough score later bet Fred it's through him. COYL let's start winning again.
