MILLWALL are closing in on a deal to sign QPR striker Rob Hulse on loan until the end of the season, NewsAtDen understands.
Hulse, who played against the Lions in the South London derby with Charlton earlier this campaign, could sign in time to play against Barnsley on Tuesday night.
The 33-year-old was a target for manager Kenny Jackett two summer's ago but he rejected a move to The Den in favour of fighting for a first-team place at Loftus Road.
But he has made just three appearances for the Hoops since then and agreed to join the Addicks for three months at the start of October, during which time he scored three goals in ten starts.
Charlton boss Chris Powell admitted publicly that he was keen to extend Hulse's stay at The Valley but said he could not afford to pay the frontman's wages any longer.
